Marketplace and Bundles

A template is a shareable bundle of resources — agents, tools, tables, apps, webhooks — that can be installed into a company. The CLI is the discovery half: search the catalog, inspect a template in full, and see what you have installed or authored. Installing and publishing are browser steps.

Key concepts

Read-only by design

Six of the marketplace's eighteen commands are runnable, and all six are reads. Installing a template writes resources across your whole company, so it stays a deliberate action in the web app with a pre-check step in front of it.

That still makes the CLI useful before an install: you can inspect exactly what a template contains and what it will demand from you, without committing.

Ids and slugs both work

A template is addressable by its opaque id or its stable URL-friendly slug. Slugs are the better choice in a script you will read again later.

How to find a template

autessa marketplace list-templates \
--searchTerm "invoice" \
--categorySlug "finance" \
--tags '["quickbooks"]' \
--page 0 --pageSize 20
FilterEffect
searchTermFree text against name and description
categorySlugLimit to one category
tagsKeep only templates carrying all of these tags
visibilityPRIVATE, COMPANY, or APPROVED
isBundleOnlyOnly bundle templates
autessa marketplace list-categories # the category tree
autessa marketplace list-featured # what Autessa has featured

How to inspect one before installing

autessa marketplace get-template --json '{...}'

This is the command worth running before any install. It returns the long description, resource counts, required connectors, and variable placeholders — that is, what the template will create, what you must already have connected, and what you will be asked to fill in.

Checking required connectors first saves the common failure: installing a template that expects a Gmail or QuickBooks connector you have not set up. See Connectors.

For your own templates, the response also carries review history.

How to see what you have

autessa marketplace list-installations # templates this company installed
autessa marketplace list-my-templates # templates this company authored

list-my-templates covers drafts, company-shared and public submissions alike — useful for auditing what your company has published outward.

Installing, uninstalling, publishing, submitting for review, packaging from a manifest, and editing template metadata are all web-app-only. Running one prints where to go. See Publishing.

Resource bundles

Import and export resource bundles between companies — browsing selectable resources and app versions, previewing and running exports and imports, and tracking recent installs.

Every command in this namespace is web-app-only. Bundle import and export move resources across company boundaries with transitive dependency resolution and candidate matching, which needs the selector and preview UI to be safe:

autessa resource-bundles preview-export
Preview the transitive resources an export would include (done in the web app).

The commands stay listed so discovery tells you the capability exists. See Bundles.
