Partner Apps

If your company is an official Autessa Partner, you can publish apps to the Marketplace that only your clients see — all of them, or the ones you choose. Partner apps can be free or paid, and they go live as soon as you publish, with no Autessa review.

What it's for​

Agencies and consultants often build the same setup for many clients: an intake app, a reporting agent, a CRM on AutessaDB. A partner app lets you package it once and let each client install it — and every update you publish — from their own Marketplace, instead of rebuilding it in every company.

Publish from Marketplace → Export bundle → Publish to marketplace, as for any listing (see Publishing). The Who can install step shows My clients only when your company is an official Autessa Partner. See Partner Portal to apply.

Clients find your apps in their own Marketplace → Browse catalog, badged From <your company> for its clients.

Key concepts​

  • Who sees it. A partner app is visible only to your company and your current clients — the companies connected to you in the Partner Portal. Pick All my clients or choose specific clients from the list. Other companies never see it in the catalog.
  • No review. Partner apps skip Autessa review and publish immediately, including new versions. You're responsible for testing them.
  • Free or paid. You can charge for a partner app exactly as for any other app: one-time or monthly, through your Autessa Payments account, with the 20% Marketplace fee. See Selling Apps.
  • Clients who leave. If a client removes you as a partner, it can no longer see or install your apps. Copies it already installed keep working, and a paid subscription it already has continues until it's canceled.
  • Choosing clients later. You can change which clients see the app at any time by editing the listing. Only companies that are currently your clients can be chosen.
  • Clients can't re-publish it. A client can use and edit what it installed from your app, but it can't export it into a bundle or publish it to the Marketplace.

How to publish an app for your clients​

  1. Build and test the app in your own company.
  2. Open Marketplace → Export bundle, select its resources, and click Publish to marketplace.
  3. Fill in the listing details.
  4. On Who can install, choose My clients. Leave it on all clients, or pick the clients who should see it.
  5. On Price, choose Free, One-time, or Monthly.
  6. Click Publish. The app is live for those clients right away.

When you publish a new version, clients that installed the app see Update available in My apps and apply it when they're ready. See Updating Installed Apps.
