Companies

Every resource in Autessa — tools, agents, tables, apps, keys — belongs to a company. The Companies page is where you see every company you're a member of, create new ones, and switch which one you're working in.

What it's for​

Companies are Autessa's workspaces. The company you're switched into (your scope) determines which resources you see and where everything you create lands. Keeping work in separate companies keeps clients, teams, or environments cleanly isolated, with their own members, usage, and billing.

From the dashboard, select Companies in the sidebar. The dashboard's Change button on the Current Workspace card leads to the same place.

Key concepts​

  • Scope — exactly one company is active at a time. Switching scope re-scopes the entire builder: dashboard stats, resource lists, permissions, everything.
  • Membership — you can belong to any number of companies. Each card on the page is badged Personal, Owner, or Member; your personal company is the one created with your account.
  • Creating companies — any confirmed user can create a company; a new company needs only a name and becomes your active scope immediately.
  • Company administration — the sidebar's Company section manages the active company: Team for members and invitations, Usage & Limits, and Billing. Company settings there also let the owner rename the company or transfer ownership.

Sharing happens inside a company, not across companies. Resources can be private to you, shared with specific teammates, or company-wide — but they never leak into another company's scope.

How to switch companies​

  1. Open Companies from the sidebar. Your active company is highlighted with a Current badge.
  2. Click Switch to this company on the company you want.
  3. The builder refreshes in place — no reload — and every page now shows that company's resources.

How to create a company​

  1. On the Companies page, click Create company.
  2. Enter a company name and click Create Company.
  3. The new company becomes your active scope immediately. Invite teammates from the Company → Team page.
