Email

Send transactional email straight from an agent — a single message to one recipient, or the same message fanned out to a whole list.

No connector is required. All email sends from Autessa's own sending domain: the from address is always autessa-builder+{companyId}+noreply@mailerautessa.com, scoped to your company. The fromName field controls only the display name recipients see — the underlying address (and where replies land) cannot be changed, so put a real contact address in the body if you expect replies. To send from your own mailbox instead, use the Gmail or Outlook Mail tool types.

Send Email TOOLSEND_EMAIL

Sends one email to a single recipient synchronously and reports the result. The body is plain text unless isHtml is true, and ccEmails is capped at 3 addresses — a longer list fails with INVALID_CC_LIST before anything sends.

On success the tool returns {"success": true, "recipientEmail": ..., "subject": ..., "fromEmail": ...} (plus ccCount when CCs were included); failures return {"success": false, "errorCode": ..., "errorMessage": ...}.

Example

Tool config
{
"toolType": "SEND_EMAIL",
"recipientEmail": "@@{RECIPIENT_EMAIL}",
"ccEmails": ["ops@example.com"],
"fromName": "Acme Support",
"subject": "@@{SUBJECT}",

}

Send Email Fan-out TOOLSEND_EMAIL_FANOUT

Sends the same subject and body individually to every address in recipientEmails — one outbound email per entry, so recipients never see each other. Addresses are trimmed, lowercased, and de-duplicated first, and delivery is best-effort: a failure for one recipient is recorded and the batch continues. There is no CC support on the fan-out variant.

The result summarizes the batch: {"success": ..., "sentCount": ..., "failedCount": ..., "totalAttempted": ..., "failures": [...]} — success is true only when every send succeeded, and failures lists each failed address with its error.
