Meeting Recorder

The two purpose-built tool types behind the Meeting Recorder feature: send a recording bot to a meeting, and notify participants when the recap is ready.

When you create a Meeting Recorder bot, the feature provisions its processing pipeline as regular tools in your company — audio extraction, transcription, the summarizer LLM call, retention cleanup, and semantic search over past meetings all use the generic types documented elsewhere (Extract Audio, Transcribe, LLM Call, AutessaDB tools, AutessaScript orchestrators). These are first-class tools: they appear in your tools list and you can edit them — tune the summary prompt, adjust retention filters, extend the orchestration scripts. Only the two types below are specific to this feature.

Meeting Bot Dispatch TOOLMEETING_BOT_DISPATCH

Sends one of your Meeting Recorder bots (botId) to a Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams meeting. The platform is detected from meetingUrl, a SCHEDULED row is written to the bot's meetings table (with title, origin: MANUAL_DISPATCH, start_time, and organizer_email when provided), and the recording bot is dispatched — startTime (UTC ISO-8601) makes the bot wait and join at that moment; omit it to join now. From there the recording flows through the bot's normal pipeline: transcription, summary, and notification, all visible on the same row.

The result is {"meeting_id": ..., "platform": ..., "start_time": ..., "success": true}.

Meeting Recorder Notify TOOLMEETING_RECORDER_NOTIFY

System-provisioned tool type

Emails meeting participants their recap: it mints a per-recipient share token for the meeting identified by meetingId and sends each participant a link to the recording, summary, and transcript from meetings@autessa.com. The provisioned tool stores meetingId as the @@{meeting_id} placeholder so the pipeline's summarize-and-notify step can invoke it for whichever meeting just finished.

This is a system-only type: because it carries Autessa's privileged sender identity, you cannot create tools of this type or edit the provisioned one — but it is visible in your tools list and your triggers and scripts can invoke it. The result is {"meeting_id": ..., "result": ..., "success": true}.

Example

Tool config
{
"toolType": "MEETING_RECORDER_NOTIFY",
"meetingId": "@@{meeting_id}"
}
This tool type is system-provisioned: it is created by Autessa feature factories and cannot be created through the user-facing tool APIs or the builder UI.
